Vendor Booths
The market will consist of approximately 40 vendors. All vendors MUST bring tables, tables (s), tablecloths, and chairs.
Your setup must fit within your tent space, with no exceptions. Please note you are responsible for bringing your table and chairs.
We will assign a booth number when you arrive at the event.
YOU MUST BRING A TENT & WEIGHTS OR GALLONS OF WATER TO WEIGH YOUR TENT DOWN.
Please reach out immediately if you do not have a tent and we can advise you on where to get one.
If you require electricity, please be prepared with your own extension cords, surge protectors, etc. Battery-operated equipment is encouraged.
This is an OUTDOOR MARKET and access to outlets is not guaranteed, by sharing power with other vendors it could work.
Load-in & Set Up
Setup is from 10:30 am - 11:45 am FIRM. All vendors much be completely set up and ready for business by 11:45 am.
You may temporarily park you vehicles in front of the Carver Museum for load-in, but cars must be moved to the parking lot before the market opens.
This venue is downtown so plan to give yourself extra time for travel and parking. PARKING IS FREE.
If you are late, you will not be invited back to future events or allowed to set up. We love y’all, but need you to be on time.
Please arrive ON TIME and anticipate direction from the Black Makers Market team at 10:30 am.
Parking
There is a parking lot on site for shoppers and street parking available around the venue.
Attendance
More than 300 people RSVPed for our last event at this venue and we are expecting at least 300-350 attendees.
Raffle
We have an optional raffle which you can contribute items to. We will ask you if you’d like to participate, but it is 100% optional.
Vendor Media Consent
By participating in the market, you allow Black Makers Market to use images, both in digital and print media for the explicit purposes of promoting Black Makers Market, your business, and affiliated events.
Event Promotion
We promote the event but your audience needs to know that YOU will be there! Please share the event flyer on Instagram and Facebook. If everyone invited 10 people to this event, we’d have a minimum of 400 people coming out!
We are running ads on social media and Eventbrite to promote this event.

Load-Out & Breakdown
The booth breakdown starts at 3:50 pm (no earlier). Please pick up your trash and leave your booth space completely clean.
There is no early breakdown. Please be prepared to stay for the entire market unless you have communicated with the Black Makers Market team for approval. PLEASE BRING ENOUGH PRODUCTS FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT.
Vendor Cancellation
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS. If the market is canceled due to weather, you will be offered one (1) make-up date. If you are unable to make that date, no refunds or credits will be offered.
