Black Outside Fest returns in 2026 for a celebration of music, art, culture, history, and community unlike anything else in the city.
Produced by Black Makers Market, Black Outside Fest is a multidisciplinary cultural arts festival that brings together Black artists, musicians, makers, food entrepreneurs, storytellers, and families for a day dedicated to experiencing and celebrating the rich history of Black culture in Austin.
More than a festival, Black Outside is a living exhibition of Black creativity. Through live music, visual art, fashion, foodways, storytelling, and community gathering, we honor the cultural traditions that have shaped Austin while creating space for the next generation of creatives to thrive.

We're back!! And excited to welcome artists and makers to the second annual Juneteenth Market and Panel Discussion at Antone's Nightclub! This event will take place on 6/19/24 from 5:30-9pm. So excited to share that this year we're partnering with the beloved Black Makers Market to bring y'all a real abundant experience!
The goal of this event is to celebrate black expression, freedom, and accomplishments while giving black owned businesses a space to integrate and share their services/products with the community. The event will be accompanied by sounds from a dope local DJ as well as a special drink menu!
With that same sentiment, we're inviting local black artists and creatives to join our vision to also include the many sectors of afro existence.
