How do I become a vendor at the Black Makers Market?

To be considered as a vendor, please complete our Vendor Application.

Before applying, we encourage you to carefully review all information on the application page to ensure your business aligns with our market guidelines.

Black Makers Market is a curated market, which means all vendors go through a selection process.

Because we receive a high volume of applications and have limited space at each event, not all applicants will be accepted.

When will I hear back after applying?

Selected vendors typically receive an acceptance email within one week of applying for the next market.

If you are accepted, you will receive instructions to confirm your participation and complete the vendor fee payment within 72 hours.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to send decline notifications or provide application status updates.

Please be sure to check your inbox and spam folder for your acceptance email and be sure to apply with your business email, or the e mail you check most often.

If we do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, the space may be offered to another vendor on the waitlist.

Can I apply for more than one market?

Yes. Vendors are currently welcome to apply for multiple market dates if they are interested in participating in more than one event.

Policies may evolve as the market continues to grow.

How are the vendors selected?

Black Makers Market receives hundreds of vendor applications each season.

To create a vibrant and balanced market experience, we carefully curate vendors based on factors such as:

• Product category balance
• Business uniqueness and quality
• Mix of returning and new vendors
• Alignment with the market experience

Our goal is to create a dynamic and supportive environment for both vendors and attendees.

Do vendors need to bring their own equipment?

Yes. Vendors are responsible for providing their entire booth setup, including:

  • Tent or canopy

  • Tables and chairs

  • Extension cords and generators if needed

  • Displays and signage

Specific setup requirements may vary by venue and will be communicated to accepted vendors before each event.
